Fiori app: table doesn't show in IE, but does in Chrome UI5 1.36.1

Hello!

 

I'm running the "Manage Banks" app on S/4HANA 1511 FPS01 through a Gateway hub.

 

WHen I load the app in Googe Chrome the table loads find (I see a list of banks)

 

When I load the app in IE 11 I see no table, just a balnk space. I have checked in the dev tools, and there are no network errors or console log errors...

(I have tested it also without the custom theme, and I have the same issue)

 

I am on SAPUI5 version 1.36.1.

 

I have another S/4HANA 1511 FPS01 server (with integrated Gateway this time) running SAPUI 1.34.2, and the manage banks app works on IE 11 and Chrome.. (I am running it on a different laptop)

 

Is this a bug in the 1.36.1 UI5 library? Or an issue with the Gateway hub? Or something else?

Browser Information for Android Platform

Hi,

 

I have a questions related to browser on android platform to run custom/standard Fiori Apps.

 

Is Mozilla Firefox a supported browser to run Fiori apps on android platform? If yes, which version?

 

I tried to find this information on internet but it was more or less confusing. I also found a note 1935915, but it does not clearly say anything about Mozilla Firefox. It is also not clear which browser/browsers are considered under 'Android Browser' (column 6)?

 

Any input on this is highly appreciated

Hi Experts,

I need your help in topic SAP Fiori for Mobile. I watched open sap course “Build Your Own SAP Fiori App in the Cloud – 2016 Edition”. In one lesson has been explained an opportunity to convert web Fiori app in hybrid mobile app. There are 2 opportunities – “Hybrid Mobile Project from Web App”, “Hybrid Mobile Extension Project” (on the image below – it is screenshot of video lecture)

But in Web IDE System I have only one opportunity - Hybrid Mobile Extension Project (on the image below – it is screenshot of Web IDE system)

My question is, how can I add second function – “Hybrid Mobile Project from Web App” to my system?

I enabled Hybrid Application Toolkit.

"My Team Calendar" Fiori - Not showing PEERS

Hi,

 

I have a manager who have other managers on the same level, but not able to view his "Peers" under "My Peers" section in "My Team Calendar" App. Same with the Employee, they should able to view there team members as Peers but none shown under "My Peers" section.

 

For some users, same list shown under "My Peers" and "My Reports" sections. The page is refreshing when navigating between "My Peers" and "My Reports", but the same information shown.

 

Could anyone face the same issue and let me know what would be issue here? Your help would be really appreciated.

Integration between ECC and SAP Fiori

Hello All,

 

In our architecture, the WO status updates are happening from UI5 or Fiori app.

User logs in to fiori app and udpates status (e.g enroute, onsite etc.), which updates in WO.

 

 

I want to know, what is the integration between ECC and FIori.

e.g. if a user udpates status at 12PM, but it has not updated in ECC. How can i check at what stage it is failing.

 

 

 

Just lilke we check idocs / proxy for messages coming from non ECC system to ECC.

Similarly where can I check flow between Fiori and ECC.

I am a ABAP programmer and now am a Odata Consultant.

from the past one year on-words i was working in Odata.

I have small doubt. While importing the properties into our entity type while we are creating the Entity type,

I want those properties from one global class.is this possible..?

S/4HANA FLP WebDynpro APP directly go to URL of backend server

Hi experts,

The My Account Bank Worklist Web Dynpro App is configured according to Fiori app reference library (LPD_CUST has been configuration to use HTTPS connection to the backend).

We use HTTPS connection to the backend server (central hub environment, S/4HANA OP1511 FPS 02). Whenever clicking this APP in FLP, I see an emtpy screen. In web consule of Google Chrome, the following error is shown:
https://backend_server_hostname:backend_HTTPS_port/url
Failed to load resouce: net: ERR_INSECURE_RESPONSE


I can open this backend url with new tab and adding exception for certicate in Google Chrome.

However, we only want to public web dispatcher hostname and its HTTPS port to end users not backend server related hostname and port, how to fix this issue?

Hi SCN,

 

I was trying to extend PO Approval app by using WebIDE. But I experienced below error when opening the extensibility pane. 

For other apps like tracking purchase order, everything is working fine.

I have no problem to test the PO Approval app on fiori launch pad and no problem to test the odata service with gateway client.

UI5- detail page load issue

Hi,

 

We were developing a custom app.

We were able to hit and fetch the data from back end.

 

Whenever we select an item from Master List, its corresponding Detail List item is displayed.

But the issue is,

 

The Detail List has an information button and its corresponding data. It opens and close alternatively for each click in the Master list Item.

 

say for example, (Based on below mentioned picture)

If we click an Item in Master list(20003771), its corresponding detail list is loaded with with all the information visible (not hidden)

If we click another Item in Master list(20003772), its corresponding detail list is loaded but the values are hidden. We manuaaly need to click the information button to see all the information.

If we click another item it works perfectly.(20003790)

(i.e)

For alternative clicks (1,3,5,etc..) it works. But for (2,4,6 ...) clicks we need to manually open the item by pressing the information button.

Has anyone faced these sort of issues before ?

Hi Experts,

 

We are trying to implement standard Cost center app in our system done all the installation part as per the below link https://fioriappslibrary.hana.ondemand.com/sap/fix/externalViewer/#/detail/Apps('F0123')

 

We are unable to fine tiles in standard catalog id SAP_FIN_TC_T, please find below image for reference

Hello Experts,

 

I am very new to SAP Fiori  and done with all the prerequisite installation like creating role( lpd_cust)  and assigning application to role .

As per Basis admin , custom role is assigned to my user and they added all the required component .

 

Still launchpad is empty and showing following error.kindly help

Hi Experts,

 

I am doing an extension of the standard Fiori Inbox application in local machine with the help of eclipse, I have done all the steps as per the document:

Web Dispatcher, Fiori and AD

The Production Web Dispatcher is currently used only by the Production Fiori Gateway and externally accessible via mobile devices. The Fiori implementation project identified the interest in a contingency Web Dispatcher for test purposes and in case of production hardware failure.

 

A second Web Dispatcher has been installed and configured for the Gateway Development and QAS environments. The Infrastructure Services Network team confirmed and configured accessibility through the firewall for the new Test Web Dispatcher to the Development and QAS Gateway.

 

Requires advice with regards to implementing and testing the process to manually or preferably automatically fail over from the Production Fiori Gateway environment to the new test web dispatcher. Also requires advice on how to switch the test web dispatcher between the Production and Test AD environments.

 

Also like to eliminate the domain name entry, as part of sign on to Fiori externally or using a non-Internet Explorer (IE) browser. want to test the default of domain during external or non-IE browser sign on.

Fiori Client Build not working

Hey there

 

I've built a custom SAP Fiori Client using the script provided within the KapselSDK.

 

I had to edit a few scripts, because of plugins renaming etc, but the Build of the app worked. When I now open the app and enter my fiori launchpad url, following screen is shown:

After I try to write something in the inputs, the app crashes. The crash log of the Fiori Client:

Upload Image to SAP

Hi Friends,

 

As I am currently working on uploading image to SAP from Signature Pad, I am stuck in below point and require you guys help.

 

1. I am able to get the Signature Pad (canvas) content and the content looks below:

data:image/png;base64,iVBORw0KGgoAAAANSUhEU........... (attached)

 

 

2. I am stuck to go ahead how I would need to take this format to backend SAP and store in DMS as png Image.

 

Kindly help me to know or point blog if there are steps on the same.

We are not able to find the services:

But I am getting TASKPROCESSING service with Default version System Alias. I am able to activate the service. But I am unable to find TASKPROCESSING service to Activate due to no service found with /IWPGW/BWF System Alias.

 

Do we need to install IW_PGW also in Front end gateway system?

I have gone through the all Forums and Masa,Tej and all Blogs. no luck.

 

Please help on this .

Problem in Sales Order Create App - improper Sales Org and Distribution Channel

Hi All,

 

I am facing a strange issue in my Sales Order Create App. After selecting the customer , the products are not getting populated. When I debugged I found that the Sales Organization and Distribution Channel were not being populated properly. The Sales Org is 8172 but only 81 is getting populated. Similarly, Distribution Channel is 50 but only 5 is getting populated. When I manually change the values in debug mode in the method RETRIEVE_PRODUCTS, the products are getting populated properly.

 

Could anyone please help me find the solution for this issue ?
