Fiori App Access

Hi All,

 

I activated two MM and two FI Apps,

 

1 .Goods Issue

2. Goods Receipt

 

1. G/L accounting document

2. Vendor accounting document

 

These are working fine. I have two users: user 1, user 2 . I have assigned goods issue, goods receipts roles to user 1. G/L and Vendor accounting document roles to user 2.

 

when       user 1  login into launchpad, it will show 4 apps.

similarly   user 2  login into launchpad, it will show 4 apps.

 

But,

 

I want display user 1  -  Goods issue and receipts

                     user 2  -  G/L and vendor accounting documents.. ?

 

How to restrict...?

 

Please Help..How to do...?

Fiori app for creating vendor invoices (AP)? (Transaction F-43)

Hi,

 

I'm trying to find a Fiori app for creating vendor invoices, with the same functionality than transaction F-43 (AP).

 

The Fiori apps that I have found by now have a logistics approach (MM).

 

Does anyone know if there is a Fiori app available with the same functionality than transaction F-43?

How to enable OData services for Standard MDG FIORI apps

Hello All,

 

I have moved the apps to new system , configured all the required standard apps, launchpad configurations and all the roles. But when i try to run the app I get the errors.

 

Can any one please help me how can i activate the OData services for Material, Vendor, Customer and Finance.

I don't find any services under sap->opu->odata->sap.

sap.m Table dynamically in XML

Hi Experts,

 

I need to create one sap.m Table dynamically.Row,Column & Data all should bind dynamically.I need to add all the properties - sort, filter, grouping.

We need to create it in xml view only rather than using javascript from controller.

We already achieved the same thing using javascript - Dynamic columns for a Table | SCN.

We need solution in xml only.

Can you please help me.

Question about wrapper mobile app for Fiori launchpad URL (using Cordova)

Hi All,

 

I have a question about the wrapper app generated using Cordova APi for Fiori Launchpad URL (login page). We see that the app works on an iOS device but it is not saving the login credentials entered by user. User has to enter his credentials every time after you close the app (force quit or kill the process).

 

When we access the Fiori launchpad URL directly on a desktop Chrome browser it saves credentials. It also saves credentials on Safari / Chrome browser on an iOS device. But that is not happening in the case of wrapper app. Any ideas?

 

I also downloaded the SAP released Fiori app from iOS app store and got the same behavior. Users needs to enter the password every time they access the app (if they killed the earlier process).

 

Is there a solution available?

 

We tested local storage option (created a copy of the login page in the wrapper app and added code for HTML5 local storage and it worked well). If we make the same changes to the ABAP class used for Fiori login, the issue should be resolved. But I wanted to know whether that is a recommended solution.

 

Let us know your thoughts.

My Timesheet Extension : is it possible to to have new Calendar legend for Leave day

Hi Gents,

 

our requirement is to highlight calendar date as Leave day if employee was on leave in My Timesheet fiori App. From my initial investigation it seems that it can be achieved if we get leave details from existing/new service.

 

But on further analysis, i figured out My Timesheet version 2 has used sap.me.calendar & sap.me.calendarLegend library and calenderLegend can provide only nine types of legend which are

 

setLegendForNormal(sLegendForNormal)Sets a new value for property legendForNormal.

setLegendForSelected(sLegendForSelected)Sets a new value for property legendForSelected.

setLegendForSelected00(sLegendForSelected00)Sets a new value for property legendForSelected00.

setLegendForToday(sLegendForToday)Sets a new value for property legendForToday.

setLegendForType00(sLegendForType00)Sets a new value for property legendForType00.

setLegendForType01(sLegendForType01)Sets a new value for property legendForType01.

setLegendForType04(sLegendForType04)Sets a new value for property legendForType04.

setLegendForType06(sLegendForType06)Sets a new value for property legendForType06.

setLegendForType07(sLegendForType07)Sets a new value for property legendForType07.


and these legend types are already occupied.


I have looked into calendar library provided by sap.ui.unified.calendar.DatesRow & sap.ui.unified.CalendarLegend which seems to be providing more flexibility in using legends but if we take this change up the sap.me.calendar library to unified one, this amounts to be extensive effort to be done and probably new app development needs to be done.


Can anybody suggest how to incorporate legends for Leave day or Selected leave day with the existing library?

Please let me know for any clarification

SAP FIORI MyInbox Approve/Reject buttons doesn't work

Hi All,

 

I did all the configurations related to SAP FIORI My Inbox , every thing working as expected except Approve /Reject Buttons.

 

I have a work item which has decision boxes like Approve/Reject . As per the help document , I have completed Maintain Task Names and Decision Options , now I can see the Approve in Green , Reject in yellow  for selected work item  but When I click on Approve button nothing happens. The button seems to me there is no action triggering when I click on it.

 

Is there any configuration I am missing here other then the details provided from the below link? I have followed all the steps as per the link from SAP.

Web Ide - Difference between Template versions 1.34 and 1.26

Hello Experts,

 

I'm developing a custom App in Web Ide using a Template with version 1.34 (as this is recommended) and have completed the custom App. while i'm running the same in Web Ide the App is working fine, But when I try to Import the same UI5 project into my ABAP repository in the ECC system which is connected to wed Ide, and get the App placed onto launchpad, the App is not opening. I'm using N/W 7.4, in addition to this should I install any other component specific for the template 1.36 or can any one recommend which version of the template in web Ide should be used such that the App would be successfully placed in launchpad. I'm posting this because earlier I was using the version 1.26 and i was successful but its deprecated now and else versions are not supporting the index.html file in ABAP  repository.

Exception Creating Catalog in Fiori Launchpad Designer

Hi,

 

We just recently finished configuring/activating Gateway, services...

We are now able to open Fiori Launchpad Designer.

 

Our current SAPUI5 Version as per: /sap/public/bc/ui5_ui5/index.html

is: Version:1.34 (1.34.2)

Component    SAP_GWFND - Support Package    SAPK-74013INSAPGWFND

Component    SAP_UI - Support Package    SAPK-75002INSAPUI

 

We have created a New Launchpad in LPD_CUST and added 1 custom HelloWorld New Application into it.

 

We have assigned a Workbench Transport Request in: /sap/bc/ui5_ui5/sap/arsrvc_upb_admn/main.html?scope=CONF

 

When creating a new Catalog, our first catalog, it fails with the error message:

 

An exception was raised.

Object WDCC 89D81CC371A17596FE55D797E8559C9007 cannot be assigned to package /WSV/FIORI

ID: /UI2/CX_WD_CFG_TOOL

An exception was raised

ID: /UI2/CX_RUNTIME

An exception was raised

ID: /IWBEP/CX_MGW_TECH_EXCEPTION

 

We checked: the target of our transport request and that of our package is the same.

 

Any ideas what might be causing this error?

Can it also be that it is caused by some misconfiguration in the newly created Launchpad and the 1 new application added to it in LPD_CUST?

 

Does somebody have an overview of all the roles/authorizations which are necessary and sufficient to be able to create a catalog in the fiori launchpad designer?

 

Is there a way to track down the reason for this error?

Adding KPI tile to a custom catalog

Hi,

 

I have configured few KPI Applications and they are working fine when I assign /UI2/SAP_KPIFRW5_TCR_S  role to the users.

But I want to give access to only specific KPI apps to a user X and not to all KPI apps, So I created a custom role which has the custom catalog and a custom group.


In the custom catalog I have added the following target mapping :

and in the group, I added the specific KPI apps from /UI2/SAP_KPIFRW5_TC_R and other transnational apps from the custom catalog . So now I have given the user access to only specified KPI app.

 

But since the group is customizable the user X can remove the KPI app from the group, and he cannot add it back because the tile is not present in the catalog.

 

So, Is there a way where I can add the KPI tile to the catalog directly.

connect native fiori client to fiori launchpad on portal

Hi,

 

We would like to connect our native fiori client to our sap portal fiori launchpad because our sso in handled by the portal.

Also SMP3 can't be used as we need the logoff possibility.

 

is this a supported scenario?

 

I know these scenarios are supported:

client - nw gateway

client - smp3 - nw gateway

 

but we want:

client - sap portal (remote catalog) - nw gateway

 

is this possible?

 

if so, how can we customize login & logoff specific for fiori with no impact if logon happens to the portal via browser.

Is SAPUI5 ready for screenreaders?

Hi all,

 

this is to share some thoughts about writing a screenreader friendly SAPUI5 application.

 

One reason for us to switch from WDJ and WDA to SAPUI5 was the promise that SAPUI5 would support accessibility. But our experience was really bad, and our blind testers using JAWS clearly gave us the feedback: "unusable". One reason might be that we are currently stuck with SAPUI5 version 1.28.xx. For administrative reasons we are not able to update our software every three months, so the experimental releases are no choice for us. I know that 1.36 is out now and in the release-planning this was marked as a new stable release, but I did not find any official statement about this yet. But this is only a side note.

 

One of the problems our blind users have is the low signal to noise ratio and this wont change with 1.36. SAPUI5 uses aria labelling everywhere. Most of the time this is fine, but consider the "My Paystubs" application. This is a master-detail application. On the left you have list with all the paystubs with information for period, pay-date, amount, currency. And the screenreader just reads out all these words over and over again ("listitem period xxx pay-date yyy amount zzz currency dollar listitem period xx2 pay-date yyy2 amount zzz2 currency dollar ...."). The same holds true for all other controls you might not even visually see, e.g. every toolbar, footer and so on is labelled and the screenreader outputs non-relevant information.


It would really be helpful to tell the SAPUI5 library to just render a "content-only" version of the controls. A lot of the magic of SAPUI5 is about nice layouts, responsive design, styling and so on which is not of relevance for blind users. Since it is not possible to switch the library into a "content-only"-mode, I implemented my own controls with their own renderers. They just render pure HTML5, and that is just fine for fast navigation with a screenreader.

 

What I did loose was some of the other magic the SAPUI5 controls provide, e.g. the dynamic loading of data for lists and tables. The code is so deeply buried within the controls, that it is not possible to e.g. just take sap.m.List and replace its renderer. This does not work, which is a pitty. So coming back to the title of this discussion: I think there is room for improvement in the SAPUI5 libs. A better separation of behavior (e.g. dynamic loading, processing events) and rendering would really be helpful. Although the current architecture does not allow for a global drop-in replacement of the rendering, it would surely help in replacing the rendering for specific controls.

Is it possible to disable in app links listed in Related Apps?

All,

 

I was wondering if we can disable an item/link from Related Apps section? in this case I am looking at Process Collection Worklist app. When you click customer number you are presented with a pop up and at the end there is a section called Related App.

The last item supposed to be a native mobile app hence, we can't click it from desktop. Since our user won't be accessing Fiori from mobile devices, I would like to disable this link.

 

Is this possible without a code change?

FIORI Launchpad Editor tile error

Hi, I´m having an issue with the Launchpad Editor tiles. When I access the editor I receive the following error "Cannot convert undefined or null to object".

 

All tiles from the catalogs and groups show the tiles like this:

Nothing appears on the Target Mapping section as well, just a message indicating "No data".

 

There is no error on the /IWFND/ERROR_LOG transaction.

 

The Launchpad is working properly.

 

I have cleaned all caches on different web browsers and the following programs on the Gateway server:

  • /UI2/PAGE_CACHE_CREATE
  • /UI2/PAGE_CACHE_RESET
  • /UI2/DELETE_CACHE
  • /IWBEP/R_MGW_CLEANUP_MD_CACHE
  • /IWBEP/R_MGW_MED_CACHE_CLEANUP
  • /UI5/UPDATE_CACHEBUSTER
  • /UI2/DELETE_CACHE_AFTER_IMP
  • /UI2/CHIP_SYNCHRONIZE_CACHE
  • /UI2/INVALIDATE_GLOBAL_CACHES
  • Tran /IWFND/CACHE_CLEANUP

 

I have attached the landscape for details of installed components "FIORI Landscape - PP.xlsx".

 

Any Ideas will be much appreciated.

Approve Supplier Invoice Notes issue

Hi Team,

 

When we are trying to enter the notes in the approve supplier invoice app, its getting printed below the screen, but when we refresh the Added notes is not showing up.

 

As shown in the below screen shot.

Where all these notes get stored in SAP?

When we check in document details, the added not is not showing in back end.

 

Can you please let me know the solution if anyone had solved.

SAP Fiori My Inbox Decision Dialog JS error

Hi Gurus, we have installed the last NW 750 ABAP (on classical DB) with SP 1 (SP2 for the UI) and proceed to the installation of the new Inbox V2 (SAPX01CA1 200).

Then we connected the new Gateway to the Backend (ECC 6 EHP 7 SP 8) and activated the services and application. We starded a test workflow in the backend using transaction SWXF. Everything is fine, we can see the approval workflow inside the new Fiori App "My Inbox". We can add comments or files, but when we want to Approve or Reject, we have a javascript error that we can see in the Console and nothing happens then of course. The same error exists in Firefox or Chrome. We can still approve or reject directly in the backend system using transaction SBWP.

If anyone could help, it would be great.
