My inbox or timesheet approval using standard task TS31000007

Hi experts,

 

I wanted to ask which app would be wiser to use for approving timesheets?

 

We are using standard task 310000007 for timesheet approval, as our client has custom approval organization than simple employee-manager relations.

 

 

  • But with Approve Timesheet app - the work items are not displaying in the app at all.

 

And going over several discussions here on SCN - some are suggesting using Approve Timesheets (without explanations how to configure it with TS31000007).

 

If someone could explain which one is better to use and how to configure it with TS31000007. I'm sure many users use TS31000007, but there are no guides how to use it with Fiori apps

Translation of the header of table in Fiori App (Smart Template)

Dear Experts,

 

If someone had experience with Fiori Smart Template, i.e. how to translate the

header of the table, if I switch to different languages?

To be more precise, if I switch to for example french language the Fiori Page will

be translate into french, BUT the table header NOT.

dynamic grouping over languages from the model in Fiori

Hi all,

If a Fiori App needs dynamic filters like Languages, regions or products you cannot use hard coded fragments (a kind of XML view)

in this scenario. I need something like a dynamic grouping over, for example for languages from the model. Is there an internal Best Practice for such a scenario?

How to import and open an already extended Fiori Application in Web IDE?

Hi,

 

In our system Approve Requsition fiori app was extended. I need to change the application. For that I want to import the already extended application to my Web IDE from our ABAP gateway. When I import the extended application with using menu ( File->Import->Application From SAPUI5 ABAP Repository ), it doesn't allow me to use the Extensibility Pane. It is grayed out ( Tools -> Extensibility Pane ) .

 

How can I import an already extended fiori application and use Extensibilty Pane?

Hi,

I working on a Fiori Application and facing this issue.

 

Details are:-

I have Installed a gateway system and an ECC system. All RFC connections are successfully maintained.

Whenever i click the the app eg: MYSPEND, i found the below error on the screen:-

Service SRA012_SPEND_SRV failed. Contact your system administrator


I have also installed the SRA012 patch in the system.

Can someone explan me wha can be the solution.

SAP Fiori My Paystub

Hi Experts,

 

I need some help.

 

I'm deploying the My Paystubs app (with no extension) in Fiori, and I'm getting the error below when I click on the app.

I have checked the backend dumps and gateway, but I couldn't find a way to fix this issue (see screenshot attached).

 

I have also already implemented the note related to PDF, but it is still not working.

Do you have any suggestion to fix it?

Error : Blank page output

Hi,

 

      I have crated odata services and set up destination, when i create fiori app , the output its not our Expected output.

 

     Its looks like a mock data  think so , But I want my data showed as output ..

 

     Please help me , how can i resolve that blank page error  while i have run my real odata services.

Is FIORI Launchpad Designer client specific?

Hi,

 

I am facing a problem in reference to FIORI Launchpad designer. We have configured Launchpad designer in DEV and it seems to be working fine. We transported that request to Quality and Production, however in Quality and Production we are able to log in but it doesn’t show any catalog group or tiles that we had in DEV. I would like to know if we need to repeat the steps of creating Catalog group and Tiles once again which we did in DEV for Launchpad designer in QAS and PRD.

MyInbox Fiori App adding Business Data problem

Hello experts,

 

I've implemented MyInbox app to our fiori system. Everything is working fine, also custom buttons are working functionally with Badi "/IWWRK/BADI_WF_BEFORE_UPD_IB"

 

Now I need business data to see some information, for ex: Purchase Order detail

 

I guided this document:

 

How to Guide: SAP Fiori - Adding a Custom Workflow Scenario to the SAP Fiori Approve Requests in 6 Steps

 

 

According to this document I've created a badi app

I wrote some codes to class like this:

After these, I set an external breakpoint to see whats happening, but nothing happened.

 

When I select one PO from my fiori, nothing is breaks and call debug!

 

 

I checked my filter values if there is a problem but not.

 

Could you please help me to call business data ?

 

 

PS: Our fiori system was installed on new system which name(SID) SGD, our develop system has name(SID) SED. These are connected with each other by RFC connection.

Issue with standard FIORI app : Cannot read property 'mProperties' of undefined

Hi Experts,

 

I am facing an issue with FIORI app.

Implemented ILM archiving app in system. Its working in launch pad and all of the action / functionality except one action.

 

When i click on this action i can see error in my browser debugger. It says "Cannot read property 'mProperties' of undefined".

I think its supposed to call JOBLIST entity within the ILM archive app.

 

Note : few other findings = in the loaded source code in browser debugger  i am not able to see the S4 view related controller. Is it like it will be loaded only when actual call goes to S4 controller.

 

 

Please provide any ideas to resolve the issue.

Access SAP FIORI MyInbox in SAP Portal

Hi All,

 

I am trying to access SAP FIORI Myinbox app in SAP Portal. I have followed the below help document and created the iView.

 

SAP Enterprise Portal: Enabling SAP Fiori (Wave 2) Apps in SAP Fiori Launchpad on Portal

 

The below are the properties I have provided for the FIORI based portal iVIew:

 


Relative Path for SAPUI5 Applications = sap/bc/ui5_ui5/ui2/ushell/shells/abap/FioriLaunchpad.html

 

Parameters to Pass on the Location String in the URL = Shell-runStandaloneApp?sap-ushell-SAPUI5.Component=cross.fnd.fiori.inbox&sap-ushell-url=/sap/bc/ui5_ui5/sap/ca_fiori_inbox

 

 

I also maintained the property as mentioned : Hand Over Portal Stylesheet , I have untick.

 

When I preview the portal iVIew it is blank but I expected to see My Inbox app , I am seeing the below issue.

 

 

Uncaught ClickjackingProtectionError: Clickjacking protection prevented the Fiori Launchpad to load in a frame

 

I googled this error found a note but looks like we already have that note applied but still no luck.

Fiori desktop not loading in portal

Hi Experts,

 

I have followed the blog below to configure the Fiori desktop.

 

SAP Fiori Launchpad on Portal – Sample Content for Administrators

 

I have did all the steps mentioned above, but still it is loading with the classic framework and not the Fiori framework.

 

Our portal version is 7.4 SP 13.

 

Please let me know where it goes wrong or what are the things I need to check in portal to correct this issue.

Error while connecting odata service using RFC with front end

Dear All,

 

I am Facing an issue of odata service while creating RFC Destination.

 

 

We have Created one Odata Service using RFC and then we gave RFC destination to other server so while hiiting the service on gateway client its gives an error asError.png

I have designed a custom launchpad in SAPUI5 that has some 5-6 tiles. On click of one of the tiles i need to call the extended fiori application.

Fiori App for SAP BO Design Studio

Hello,

 

we have implemented a dashboard with SAP BO Design Studio 1.6. Our BW-System is 7.4 on HANA.

The question is how we can publish the Dashboard to the user. One Option is to use the BI Platform (BOE).

 

Can we also integrate a SAP BO Design Studio Application in a Fiori App and run it from the launchpad?

I found the app F1035 (Central Fiori Component for all Design Studio Fiori apps).

 

Does anyone has experience with this app? Support this app all Features from BO Design Studio?

My Timesheet Extension : is it possible to to have new Calendar legend for Leave day

Hi Gents,

 

our requirement is to highlight calendar date as Leave day if employee was on leave in My Timesheet fiori App. From my initial investigation it seems that it can be achieved if we get leave details from existing/new service.

 

But on further analysis, i figured out My Timesheet version 2 has used sap.me.calendar & sap.me.calendarLegend library and calenderLegend can provide only nine types of legend which are

 

setLegendForNormal(sLegendForNormal)Sets a new value for property legendForNormal.

setLegendForSelected(sLegendForSelected)Sets a new value for property legendForSelected.

setLegendForSelected00(sLegendForSelected00)Sets a new value for property legendForSelected00.

setLegendForToday(sLegendForToday)Sets a new value for property legendForToday.

setLegendForType00(sLegendForType00)Sets a new value for property legendForType00.

setLegendForType01(sLegendForType01)Sets a new value for property legendForType01.

setLegendForType04(sLegendForType04)Sets a new value for property legendForType04.

setLegendForType06(sLegendForType06)Sets a new value for property legendForType06.

setLegendForType07(sLegendForType07)Sets a new value for property legendForType07.


and these legend types are already occupied.


I have looked into calendar library provided by sap.ui.unified.calendar.DatesRow & sap.ui.unified.CalendarLegend which seems to be providing more flexibility in using legends but if we take this change up the sap.me.calendar library to unified one, this amounts to be extensive effort to be done and probably new app development needs to be done.


Can anybody suggest how to incorporate legends for Leave day or Selected leave day with the existing library?

Please let me know for any clarification

My Inbox - Open Task navigation to display transaction ME23N

Hi Friends,

 

The requirement is below. Please help me with your answers asap.


   ->  We have a My Inbox Fiori application with the custom workflow enabled.


   ->  When we click on the "Open Task" button it should navigate to SAP GUI ME23N transaction screen opened with the purchase order number

        for the work item displayed in the screen .

 

 

Is it possible? and do we require a UI extension to be done here?

MyInbox Purchase Requisition Release

Hello people

 

There is something weird happening when I release a purchase requisition using MyInbox app. I am getting a message saying "task successfully released" BUT when I check in the backend system the purchase requisition is a not-released status. Also the item doesn't disappear from MyInbox items
