Experts,

 

I am trying to activate ODATA service as below for Create Sales Order App,

 

1) Run Tcode /IWFND/MAINT_SERVICE to activate and maintain services on fronted server. Click Add Service icon. Enter system alias of backend system. In External service name field, enter SRA017_SALESORDER_CREATE_SRV. Click GET SERVICES icon.

Expected Output: Service name dispalyed in the SELECT BACKEND SERVICES section. From here, click ADD SELECTED SERVICES button

 

Actual Output: No service is displayed in SELECT BACKEND SERVICES section. Nothing happens on screen. I see that RFC connection between frontend & backend is working fine. Not sure what is missing. I see that couple of colleagues at work have completed this setup successfully & i see their custom technical service name mentioned and visible on screen.

 

Please share your valuable inputs.

We are also facing same issue like we created Sales Order App in Fiori, it is working fine in Desktop but getting "TimeoutError : DOM Exception 23" in Ios devices.

Hi,

 

I came across few queries when i was going through Fiori apps in HCP.

 

1. Do we have standard fiori apps running on HCP.? or is it only on demo cloud as of now.?

2. If we are going for HCP std fiori apps, i believe we need not to deploy any apps into Hana cloud.

     Then how do we connect our gateway service to that std fiori app.? If we want to customize the app, how we are going to do.?

3. What are the pre-requisites to implement std fiori apps on cloud to a customer.?

4. How to manage the access to end users to fiori apps or fiori launchpad.?

Hi,

 

Is there any available document which describes steps to be followed to extend standard fiori Odata service which is available in ECC related to central hub gateway scenario.

 

Please share the steps to be followed to extend odata service from ECC as I don't find standard odata services from SEGW.

 

Tried to search but no luck so far.

I have implemented My Inbox fiori app and i am having an issue where the items are displayed but the detail page is blank. Is there something that I have missed. I have ?allItems=true appended to the url

We are implementing Analytical apps in our system

 

1.We have ECC EHP7 and Gateway NW 7.4 central hub deployment.

2.We are able to access transactional and factsheet apps.

3.We have created same user in gateway, ABAP and HANA system and following access has been given to user

 

in gatway system

/UI2/SAP_KPIFRW5_TCR_S

/UI2/SAP_KPIMOD_TCR_S

in hana system

sap.hba.r.sb.core.roles::SAP_SMART_BUSINESS_RUNTIME

sap.hba.r.sb.core.roles::SAP_SMART_BUSINESS_MODELER.

<App specific role>

we can access KPI modeler.while creating KPI tile we are getting insufficient priviledges when opening  inpect element.

Please guide us how to resolve this.

I have configured fiori transactional application approve purchase order. But it showing the " Could not open app. Try again later." .But it triggers the workflow value in launchpad.

Hi

 

I have a basic question on S-User and the privileges to download components / installation / upgrade files.

 

I am planning to take this certification - C_SAPXIMP_20 ( SAP Certified Technology Associate - SAP Fiori Implementation and Configuration (Wave V) )

If I pass this certification I understand that I will get a S-Userid.

Q-1: Now, my question is: With this S-Userid, will I be able to download any components for Fiori / any SAP components beyond Fiori?

Q-2: Can I install these components in IDES system?

Q-3: With this S-Userid, can I also download IDES for my own learning?

Hi, I am very new to Fiori & OData

 

I am trying customize standard create sales order app.

 

I was able to download code from UI5 repository and changed it as per my requirement.

 

Now I would like to customize standard OData service. But i could find SRA017_SALESORDER_CREATE_SRV in SEGW and SICF.

 

I can see other standard fiori services except SRA017_SALESORDER_CREATE_SRV

Where can I find this service

 

Please guide me.

Hi Experts,

We have a requirement where we are extending(customizing) VIM Approval standard myInbox app. Please find the steps which we have done yet.

1. Redefine the OData service.

2. Copied the existing standard VIM Approval app and created new project in eclipse for extending it.

3. Now from UI side, we want a new tab in detail view to show transaction history details for which we have created new entity type say for eg  History at OData side.

4.We are using SAP provided UI hook to make changes from UI side. In detail view we have created new tab .

Now the problem is in the controller.js of detail view the model for Data Binding(Task Processing) is existing provided by Sap. But for my new tab I want to use a different entity type "History" .

Could you please let me know how can we achieve it?

And also can we use different entity type in one single have for different UI elements and the possible way of doing it?

Hello SCN,

 

We want to implement the Shopping Cart Fiori apps in our SAP Gateway.

 

We have installed GBSRM001 and SRMNXP01 in our SAP SRM 7.03 system.

 

In the front-end serverI access /IWFND/MAINT_SERVICE and I select "Add service".

 

Then I enter the system alias of my SRM  system and I click "Get services".

 

I get a list of services, but the ones that I need are missing (e.g. /GBSRM/CARTAPPROVAL):

 

 

In the back-end server I access /IWFND/MAINT_SERVICE and I select "Add service".

 

Then I enter LOCAL as system alias and I click "Get services".

 

I get a list of services, including the ones that I'm looking for:

 

 

I understand the services exist in the back-end and that my user is authorised to see these services.

 

What am I missing to make these services visible in the front-end server?

Hello Fiori experts,

 

There are a lot of topics regarding the Fiori Launchpad Screen on SCN, but in my opinion i have an issue which is not covered so far.

 

So coming to my problem. I have followed all configuration steps on help.sap.com for configuring the fiori launchpad.Unfortunately, wenn i call the fiori launchpad i get the following authorization request (sorry it is in German):

Once i give in my credentials i see my Launchpad (at the moment empty, as it is not configured).

 

The Launchpad Designer Logon Screen is working perfectly, so i see the typical standard fiori logon page.

In TX sicf i have maintained the Custom Logon Page Implementation class:

 

I have cleared the following caches:

• Browser cache
• SMICM
• /IWBEP/CACHE_CLEANUP
• /IWFND/CACHE_CLEANUP

 

I hope someone can help,

Experts,

 

Just wondering what could be the steps required in a cloned system. The host name, RFC se up and Fiori Launch Pad with New URL are some the steps I am aware.

 

In source system, Fiori Apps working without issues. System is Ehp7 with embedded NW Gateway.

 

Do we need to perform testing for each Fiori App ?

Hi Friends,

 

I have created custom Z odata service and developed UI5 application based on oData service. I am not seeing the summary information on the tile.

 

For example , when I look at standard SAP FIORI leave approval, which displays as 'Pending Approval' 20

 

In my custom scenario , I am not seeing any number here, it is displaying the tile of the tile. Attached screen. To get the count here like the number of items etc...what I need to change in my custom oData service?

When I'm creating a new travel request I m able to submit it. But when I m trying to save and submit or edit and submit an existing travel request I'm getting the error : Method 'TRAVELS_CREATE_ENTITY' not implemented in data provider class.

 

Ideally it should call create_deep_entity method but instead its calling create_entity, due to the payload passed is missing some fields like cost assignments..

 

Odata Addon: SRA004 600 Sp08

UI Addon: UIX01TRV 100 Sp06

UI5 Addon: SAP_UI 740 Sp13

 

Please help me out.

for eg. SAP Smart Business for project execution and some other apps as well.

We have HANA DB for EHP7 for ERP 6.0 system with components installed on it as:

We are little confused over here, how do we make use of second system which we treating as frontend system.

Are there any components missing on both system.

What are the setting to be done in terms of HANA Live.

Please help us with simple steps to proceed implementation of Fiori Apps.
