SAP FIORI Approve Leave Version 2 error

Hi All,

 

I'm getting following error while approving leave request using manger's id.

 

No Customizing for status type ARQ, status APPROVED, and transition event APPROVE


We have following SCs installed for Leave approval.


UIHR001 100

GBX01HR 600


I've gone through some posts in SCN and tried to maintain an entry in the table PTREQ_STATUS_CHK for status type ARQ, status APPROVED and transition event APPROVE but I'm getting following error in Gateway.


Method call failed; the method APPROVE of the class CL_PT_ARQ_PROCESSOR does not exist


Please help me in resolving this issue.

Browsing and uploading csv/excel file in sap ui5 m table

Hi Experts,

 

I am working in an assignment and i have a requirement where i need to browse and upload a csv/ excel file in to a sap.m table. I know about sap.m.UploadCollection, but not able to get the file uploaded in to the ui5 client side table.

 

Please provide some suggestions here.

Fiori Launchpad - Language problems

Hi, I have upgraded the gateway to SP12 together with other app components as well as UI5 and notes required.

 

After this, when I access the Launchpad i notice that some tiles lost their titles and now show a general title: "App Launcher: Static". This happens if I access the launchpad in ES language, but if I access in EN, the tiles look ok. This doesn´t happend for all tiles, some are still ok in both languages showing the titles in each language.

 

When I go to the Launchpad Designer, on the catalog and group list on the left side, some entries have no description at all. Again, this happens in ES langauge but not in EN.

Inside the tile, descriptions are not editable in ES language, and the following message shows up (will translate as it shows up in spanish):

"Original language for this tile is "es" and your user language is "en"; so this editable property is read-only. Change your user language to treat these properties".

 

This didn´t happen before but only after the upgrade.

 

I have refreshed all sort of caches using this programs/transactions:

Tran: /IWFND/CACHE_CLEANUP

Progs:

  • /UI2/CHIP_SYNCHCRONIZE_CACHE
  • /UI2/DELETE_CACHE
  • /UI2/DELETE_CACHE_AFTER_IMP
  • /UI2/PAGE_CACHE_RESET
  • /UI2/PAGE_CACHE_CREATE
  • /UI2/INVALIDATE_GLOBAL_CACHES

 

Does anybody know how did this happen? I think that maybe something was originally installed in one language and the upgrade or notes applied in another.

 

I don´t know how the standard translations got lost. I don´t want to go into translation of the apps manually as I want to recover standard translations.

 

Help will be much appreciated. I really don´t know where to look through.

Launchpad Designer - Remote Catalog 404 - No Local Catalogs

Hello,

 

We have a problem with the Launchpad Designer in our NetWeaver Gateway system.

 

When I access the Launchpad Designer, it loads two remote catalogs which result in a 404 error (see below).

 

These catalogs should be connected to a HANA server, which we don't have.

 

We don't need these remote catalogs, but the problem is that none of the local catalogs are getting loaded in the Launchpad Designer.

 

I suspect that the Launchpad Designer stops loading catalogs after the 404 error is received for the remote ones.

 

I have tried deleting the remote catalogs, but they always come back.

 

What can we do to get rid of the remote catalogs?

From Tile to Abap Code..How

Hi Expert,

 

Unfortunately I'm very new to the Fiori Interface. I'm working on a Retail Project. I need to understand by the cluster set creation is not displaying all the records I expect.

I know a tile is connected to a semantic Group.

However, once the launchpad Designer points to a certain Semantic Group which I can approximately identify in transaction /IWFND/MAINT_SERVICE, where can we do within SAPGUI to read the code controlling that semantic group behaviour.

I went to SCIF, SE80, etc...but I'm not really able to pin point the how to display the abap code controlling this Fiori Tiles.

 

Any help greatly appreciated.

SAP Fiori app for Vendor Invoice Managment(VIM)

Good day All,

 

My Client is using Vendor Invoice Management(VIM) functionality in their business.

 

We got requirment to enable VIM Invoice Approval on SAP Fiori. As per my knowlege, we dont have SAP standard SAP Fiori application for VIM. So, we started buidling custom app for VIM approval process.

 

I heard SAP has a plan to release SAP Fiori Standard app for VIM Invoice, I searched it I could not find out any app with VIM related.

 

If you have any information on VIM SAP Fiori app, Please let me know.

Approve Shopping Cart Inquire button

Hi All,

 

In my Approve Shopping cart App,When I clicked on Inquire button it gives me Security certificate error .

 

Do I need to maintain some certificate in IE or Do I miss some setting in connection .

Fiori approve request $batch waiting time too long

hi, I am facing an issue in Fiori - approve request. This issue happened after UIX01CA1 was upgrade from SP2 to SP5. The master and details view is taking more than 1.5 min to load. By using Chrome developer tool, i can tell it is $batch/sap-client=010 taking the longest waiting (TTFB) time, 1.4 min. There is no error on Chrome developer console, or Fiori gateway server or ECC backend. Does anyone have idea how to start solving this issue? Thanks in advance.

SAP Cloud Connector Installation

Hi Expert,

 

I have run through the step by step guide line to setup the cloud connector from SAP HANA Cloud Platform.

However I faced an issues whereby I can't load the local hosts page as mentioned in the documentation. I have run the go.bat file.

No luck in hidding the buttons from fiori extended app of ca_fiori_inbox

hello,

I need to hide claim , forward suspend buttons.

I created the fiori extension for the extension app and wrote the below code:

 

Under s3Custom.controller.js

 

extHookChangeFooterButtons: function(oButtonList){

     oButtonList.getIdForLabel()("XBUT_CLAIM").setVisible(false);

     oButtonList.getIdForLabel()("XBUT_RELEASE").setVisible(false);

     oButtonList.getIdForLabel()("XBUT_FORWARD").setVisible(false);

     oButtonList.getIdForLabel()("XBUT_CONFIRM").setVisible(false);

      

  }

 

However nothing is happening. no error as well.

How to check search help in UI5 screen

Hi,

 

I am using the search help for currency for which Dialog type "DISPLAY VALUES IMMEDIATELY".

 

But still i am facing the issue like I am getting a Screen to enter values when i press f4.

 

How to skip the initial screen in UI5?

Error occured for Factsheet app

Hi Experts,



When i search a Equipment Via Search Field in FIORI Launchpad {Refer }.

Its is throwing the Error that:-


Search scope is not valid

ALL_CONTENT_200811101622 (Code ESH_FED_MSG020)

we have done below mentioned activities for Factsheet type App 'EQUIPMENT':-

 

1. Installed Webdispatcher in SAP landscape.

2. Complete the FIORI Search implimentation steps as per  link

Setup of SAP Fiori Search - Configuration of SAP Fiori Infrastructure - SAP Library

 

Kindly help to solve this, as this is an urgent issue to be solved for go live.

Fiori launchpad basic authentication popup

Hello

 

I have configured the login class /UI2/CL_SRA_LOGIN for the ushell node but i am still getting this pop up

 

 

I checked and the same identical configuration (pre-delivered) is for /default_host/sap/bc/ui5_ui5/ui2/launchpage and also for /default_host/sap/bc/ui5_ui5/sap/ar_srvc_launch and there the login page looks like this

 

 

How do i correct the issue with the fiori launchpad log on page to be the same as above?

We are doing our first Fiori experiment with a NW 7.4 SP08 Frontend connecting to an ECC 6.0 (no Ehps) Backend (no HANA).  We are trying to use the UIX01EAP App to Create a Sales Order, just something simple. 

 

The Fiori Launchpad is trying to load the KPI Catalog, which we don't have installed or want for this scenario. 

 

Error (404, Not found) in OData response for GET "/sap/hba/r/sb/core/odata/modeler/SMART_BUSINESS.xsodata;o=HANA/Catalogs

 

Any thoughts on what is triggering this in the Fiori Launchpad?

How to define cordova/barcode plugins in Fiori Launchpad

Hi All,

 

I have created fiori application( not Kapsel Application ) with Barcode functionality in SAP WebIDE , it is working fine but when i deployed in to launchpad getting error "Cordova is undefined".

same issue in fiori client also.

After fiori client 1,2 versions cordova plugins are inbuilt.

 

Could please help me on this.

i'm trying to implement some fiori applications (for example Managa bank Accounts) and when i follow the configuration guide I can't do this phase, the app always fail. Please, someone can explain me in more details what should i do to make it works?

Front-End Server: Enable App for Access in SAP Fiori Launchpad

 

The SAP Fiori launchpad is the entry point to SAP Fiori apps. In the launchpad, the user can see and access those Fiori apps that have been assigned by an administrator to the catalog designed for this user's role.

The administrator makes these assignments in the launchpad designer. For more information, see Setup of Catalogs, Groups, and Roles in the SAP Fiori Launchpad.

SAP delivers technical catalogs for groups of SAP Fiori apps as repositories to create your own catalogs in the launchpad designer. Along with these catalogs, more technical content is delivered for each SAP Fiori app. You can find the delivered technical content for each SAP Fiori app in the SAP Fiori apps reference library.

Customizing Navigation Target

Before you can access this app, you must have specified an RFC destination that points to the SAP back end where the Web Dynpro is running. The predefined system alias for the RFC destination is SAP_ECC_Financials (see transaction LPD_CUST and access the app-specific configuration).

  1. Use transaction SM59 to check whether the RFC destination SAP_ECC_Financials is available.
  2. If this RFC destination is not available, create it manually (connection type H) and configure it according to your needs (SSL).

Reg: Frame Size of Fiori Application

Hello Guru's,

 

Here is the modified application, please check the attached file.

 

In the table of the attached file, I added a new column which resulted in these issues.

 

We would like to increase the width of the displayed content.

 

When debugging through Inspect Element, we found that the element that is used to control the width is SAPMShellCentralBox

 

Changing the Width and Margin-Left and left, I am able to get what is expected.

 

Now question is how can I modify the theme for this application alone. I don't want to modify the Theme  SAP_BlueCrystal - library.css file.

 

Please help me in resizing the frame.

Fiori On Portal Exception

Hello,

when i click on a tile i get the error "Could not open app. Try again later.".

when I looked at javascript sources ,there is an error as

 

 

TypeError: Unable to get property 'setContent' of undefined or null reference

 

 

When I debug the code , there is an error in App.Controller.js

 

 

 

this.getView().byId("Wrapper").setContent(body) line

 

 

 

Here , this.getView().byId("Wrapper") is undefined, for that reason it gives the exception.

My Inbox Fiori with multiple backend systens

Hello,

 

I have implemented My Inbox Fiori application. Below are our Front End server and back end server versions.

 

Front End: NW 7.40 SP13

                 SAP_GWFND 740 SP13

                 SAP_UI 740 SP14

                 IW_PGW 100 SP08

 

Backend system 1 :- NW 7.40 SP11

                                SAP_GWFND 740 SP12

                               SAP_UI 740 SP13

 

Backend system 2 :- NW 7.40 SP11

                                SAP_GWFND 740 SP12

                               SAP_UI 740 SP13

 

 

Now, My Inbox application is working fine and I could see the work items when I have added one backend system alias on the TASKPROCESSING Odata service.

 

It works for both of above systems individually.

 

But, as soon as I keep both the systems together on the TASKPROCESSING service, I do not see any work items. On the My Inbox tile, I can see the count, but inside the app, no work items.

 

I tried below URL in the Gateway Client to see what it gives.

 

/sap/opu/odata/IWPGW/TASKPROCESSING;mo;v=2/TaskCollection

 

Below was the response. As per the response, looks like no data coming.
